Court filing is the second leg of legal-support work — getting the documents to the clerk, properly stamped, and the conformed copies returned to your office before the close of the day.
What we file
- Civil — complaints, answers, motions, oppositions, replies, declarations, exhibits.
- Family — petitions, responses, requests for orders, judicial council forms.
- Probate — petitions, accountings, inventories.
- Small claims — claims and responses.
- Specialty filings — name changes, restraining orders, ex parte applications.
Sacramento County — same-day return
For Sacramento Superior Court filings, we hand-file in the morning and return the conformed copies to your office the same business day. Standard filings are confirmed back by 5 PM Pacific.
Other California counties
We file by court runner or by e-filing depending on what the receiving court accepts. Conformed copies are returned by the next business day for runner-filed documents; e-filing confirmations are forwarded as soon as the court issues them.
How to request a filing
Either send the filing-ready documents to our office and call (916) 603-1643, or attach them to the contact form (top of every page) with the court, division, and any time-sensitive notes. We confirm the order back the same business day with an order number.
